Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly has shared a deeply emotional account of the trauma she claims to have faced in her personal life. In a heartfelt social media post, the actress revealed that she is going through one of the darkest phases of her life, involving alleged marital abuse, separation from her children, and a bitter legal battle that spans across countries.
“I Lost My Children the Day I Chose My Dignity”
Taking to Instagram, Celina Jaitly opened up about leaving Austria on the night of October 11, 2025, to escape what she described as abuse and harassment. She wrote that the decision to protect her dignity, her children, and her brother came at a devastating cost—being separated from her three children.
“The day I chose to protect my self-respect, my children, and my brother, was the day I lost my children,” she wrote, calling the experience heartbreaking and traumatic. Her post, she said, is meant for all those who are trapped in abusive marriages, reminding them that they are not alone.

Fled Austria at 1 AM With Neighbours’ Help
Celina revealed that she left Austria at 1 am, with the help of her neighbours, carrying very little money. She returned to India in distress, only to face yet another shock. According to the actress, she had to approach the court just to enter her own house in India—a property she had purchased in 2004, before her marriage.
Despite this, she alleged that her husband is now claiming ownership of the same property. To continue fighting the legal battle, Celina said she was forced to take a large loan.
No Contact With Children Despite Court Orders
The actress also claimed that despite joint custody and existing orders from the Austrian family court, she has not been allowed to speak to her children. She alleged that repeated attempts to meet or communicate with them were blocked.
Celina further stated that selective stories were circulated through the media to interfere with her relationship with her children. She alleged that the children were influenced, brainwashed, and even intimidated to speak against her.
“I Was Their Primary Caregiver”
Reiterating her role as a mother, Celina reminded followers that she had been the primary caregiver since her children’s birth. She also spoke about how she had supported her husband’s career, moving from one country to another for his work, often putting her own professional life on hold.
Divorce Notice as Anniversary ‘Gift’
One of the most shocking revelations in her post was that in 2025, her husband allegedly sent her a divorce notice as a gift on their 15th wedding anniversary. Celina said she repeatedly tried to resolve the matter amicably and prioritized her children’s well-being above everything else.
However, she claimed that in response, unreasonable demands were made—including claims over her pre-marriage property and conditions that would strip her of dignity and independence even after the divorce.
“Overnight, I had to prove myself as a mother. My entire world was taken away from me in a single moment,” Celina wrote.
